We wear the mask that gins and lies.
The mask that hides our truths and fears,
That blinds the stranger's eyes,
From the true us, the real us, the actual us.

We hide our mistakes, our sadness.
We try to make it all seem like happiness, so effortless.
We try to hide our sins and worries,
Make it seem like life is bliss.
But it's the mistakes and the sadness that we should never miss.
